City of Tombs, our Nature Inspired Shoe Design Challenge winner was announced on April 29th, 2019. For our very first picture design challenge, we asked our VIPs in one of our social platform groups to submit a picture or photo that reflects artistic expression in nature and give it a name. The chosen photo served as the inspiration behind this sneaker. The shoe was designed based on the colors, style, and perspective of the artist and their photography. The winning photo, displayed on the shoebox and inside the shoes, was taken by a local New Yorker and an RFK supporter who was captivated by our vision and challenge.

Our loyal #UOriginals did not disappoint, contributing stunningly beautiful art that sparked a lengthy debate before the City of Tombs emerged victorious, much like its amber sunrise.
